I have about 3 different paths between our data centers. My two data centers are active/active, which means that one data center handles some business functions and the other one handles the other. In the event a data center would ever go down, then functions move to the other data center.
I have a link between them, a private WAN, and another "WAN' that runs over the Internet through IPSec tunnels. So, nodes do not necessarily send all their traffic down the same pipe, and even if they do, it can change.
Is there a way to just get these sensors to stop only looking for a specific node's traffic and if it sees traffic to and from a node, it checks it. It is possible for the same node pinned to QoE Sensor 1 for things, like SSL or SSH or time synchs have other types of traffic, like FTP or file transfers that would be seen by QoE Sensor 2. And, in the event of a planned or unplanned outage, have that traffic take new paths or all in one path.
So, the sensors see any data from a node added to Orion, and they add applications, like was added in version 11.5, and they report it based on what sensor but the same node could show up in one or more QoE Network Sensors.
