Change NPM so "Nodes Down in last 24 hours" responds to filters that work in "Down Nodes"

I might have found a bug, or maybe I'm using NPM incorrectly, but a SQL filter that works well in the Down Nodes view won't work in the Nodes Down in the Last 24 Hours view.

Example: The Filter Nodes entry below works fine in Down Nodes, but used here it produces a SQL error.

Is this an error on my part for trying to filter nodes when a report is used? If so, what's the solution for showing an NPM window that displays nodes down in the last 24 hours?

hey man,

This report is scanning the 'Events' table. you really have 2 options that i can see the first is nodeid the second is message details

the network node is actually NODEID and this can be filtered by the unique nodeid rather than caption. You can filter out the caption in the message string like below

syntax: NetworkNode NOT IN ('0','3') AND Message NOT LIKE 'AA%'

A useful tip here and rather then going to every node and getting nodeid just add the nodeid column in to the report and start the filtering that way.

for example:

bobmarley

This worked in my environment. I think the AND and NOT needs to be capitols.

Status=2 AND Caption NOT Like '%servername%'
