Solarwinds & GIS compatibility

Before discovering Solarwinds my company used GIS for mapping topology, and hardware information details at each location. Now that we are using Solarwinds I was hoping to combine all our info from GIS to Solarwinds. Would I have to do this manually? Or can they be compatible? Just FYI I am new to Solarwinds so if there is an easier way to do this, please share.

I'm not aware of a way to tie GIS into NPM Maps, but there are a number of threads & feature requests & tangent ideas you can review to see what folks have thought of, what they want. Then get in touch with the authors or their respondents for progress reports.
