Emailing Reports.

The reporting feature is a great, after you have filtered out all the garbage it really does come in handy. However, one crucial thing LEM is missing is the ability to automate emailing the reports.

I understand there is a way to have it by configuring a machine to do this (that has Outlook already installed), but shouldn't there be a built in feature??

The major issue with e-mailing reports is that e-mail has limits that the reports can easily exceed. Even if you have an internal limit of 15 or 20MB, the reports can exceed that and fail to be sent. I believe that's why the decision was made to skip that feature. It is possible to have LEM send an e-mail when a report completes, and then you can put your automated reports in an accessible location. You could even have the e-mail include a link to that location.
