Any one knows how to monitor EMC VNX storage on Solarwind ? what to do, and what details can solarwind show ?

VNX support includes block and file side monitoring of performance, capacity, and configuration data.

Yes this definitely works, you will need to install and configure an SMI-S provider on your agent... This should help Installing and Configuring EMC SMI-S Provider and Solutions Enabler Appliance (VNX/CLARiiON) (just follow the instructions for installing and configuring the provider). Once you have the SMI-S provider installed and you have added your arrays, adding the VNX in solarwinds is very easy; you will be prompted to add the IP where you installed the provider and it will then run a scan for the arrays that you have added to the provider.
