We have several different departments in our IT organization where it would be very useful to filter out config change templates based on the user / group in SolarWinds. We can already filter to the specific nodes they need, but as it stands they are able to see all the different / unrelated templates. If we could limit this based on config change template tags that would be extremely useful.
Or even finishing out the idea of using "Execute Config Change Template" for the home page view. As it stands that view is useless and requires you to backtrack to the Config Change Template view and select the variable to run. Just landing on the Execute page does not give the option to run anything without selecting the template first. Maybe include a drop down to select the desired template to run if you are going to allow us to use "Execute Config Change Template" for the home page on user accounts?
