Occasionally I see that little yellow alarm bell on the top of my Solarwinds web page. I click on it and look at the alerts and determine which are new, which need immediate attention, etc.
Here's one that I see frequently, about UDT jobs not completing:
When I click on the link, it takes me to a set of documentation which describes three options that may correct the issue:
This is nice information, but it does NOT take me to the place I need to go to change the UDT polling interval. At the very least, I'd like to see it provide a link directly to the UDT Polling Settings.
Alternately, the manual / information should provide a hot link to the appropriate Settings page.
And not just for UDT, but for EVERY Solarwinds message that can popup below the alarm icon.
Wouldn't this be a simple-but-great improvement in user friendliness?
Wouldn't it save us all a lot of time by taking us where we need to go to fix a problem?
