SAM Module:
- Updating the Application Monitor Name will NOT change the Template Name
- If the Application Monitor Name changes, you'd have to update the alert trigger condition to match the Application Name to the New Name
Let’s say I have the following application template:
As you can see the template name is AA Case # - update the alert trigger condition to match the Application Name
I created an alert.
The alert name for this Service is: AA Case # - update the alert trigger condition to match the Application Name
Now I edit the application monitor and change the Application Monitor Name to My_New_Name
Now in All Applications it shows with a different name
But now if the application name changes, I must update the alert trigger condition:
