Support for ESX server in Kiwi CatTools (VMware )

Is there nay plan to support ESX server in Kiwi CatTools with some standard task ?

Like enable cdp in both direction on vSwitches ?

or change snmp settings ect. ?

Yes, this is certainly on our roadmap although we'll likely be more focused on config mgmt for the Cisco v1000 (www.cisco.com/.../index.html).

Having said that, you might be able to accomplish this today if you're comfortable writing a script. It would require the installation of the VMware Infrastructure Remote CLI on your CatTools machine (www.vmware.com/.../drivers_tools.html). Then, you could use the existing "Device.CLI.Send Commands" activity to execute a vbscript that performed the appropriate vswitch config actions.
