A dynamic/integrated coms room builder

the idea here is to be able to dynamically design a new data centre or remote office coms room, or map out an existing one with stencils, and include patch panel/cable system layouts that can link to live monitored devices without the use of Visio. I've seen stuff similar but I can't afford two run both systems Data Center Visualization Software – ManageEngine RackBuilder Plus. Could it be possible to build these features into the mapping system without having a separate module or app
