This is the dynamic query builder for groups today. I'd like to see it get some love.
I would love to be able to add things via SWQL which includes the ability to use 'or' but even just replacing this view with what's used in alerts would be great.
The ability to create groups based on SWQL or SQL queries would make dynamic groups very flexible and would eliminate the need to create a lot of custom properties.
Currently I have custom properties that I auto populate via a SQL job that runs on a regular schedule. For example, I have an app monitor template that monitors services on Citrix servers. I have a dynamic group that is assigned to the template. When a new Citrix server is added I auto populate a custom property Asset_Type with the value "Citrix_Server" based on a query of a table the Citrix database. SolarWinds automatically updates the group to include the new server and an app monitor is automatically created for that Citrix server. The whole process eliminates the need to remember to manually change that custom property. If I could create a group based on a SQL query I wouldn't even need the custom property.

Yes I would like this too.
Or at the very least I would like to see other negative conditions such as "does not contain", "does not being with", "does not end with" etc.
Would be super-helpful! Currently looking to create a group that contains all nodes that are VMs and match a certain custom property and it looks like this can't be done with the current dynamic query construct
I am running into some problems currently. Ability to use SWQL here would be advantageous for us.
