We have thousands of thin wireless access points on our estate, connected to Cisco 5500 WLCs
We DO NOT want to enable the functionality that automatically removes access points with a status of 'UNKNOWN', as we would lose all visibility of the device at that point
So we keep the alerts as a means to track the remediation/repair/RMA of the failed AP
However, if the AP has to be replaced, there is no easy way to remove the failed node from Solarwinds, other than editing SQL directly to remove the node from dbo.Wireless_AccessPoints
We need a means to do this from the GUI
