I'd like to know the history of what MAC/IP was plugged into each switchport for the last 6 months... or some arbitrary time period selected by the SW admin for their own organization. With all of the adds/moves/changes that go on every day in our organization, this would really help us keep track of static IP assignments when the PC fails and there's no other way to know what IP address that PC had and would need again in order to access the information they need.
CiscoWorks (obsolete product) used to do this very well (over a decade ago), but I haven't found anything near comparable.
