Hi everyone,
Our company is an enterprise company consisting of over 3700 employees. We would like to see the Solarwinds products seperated based on different groups within our company. For example, in our instance:
- We would like our development and hardware teams to have admin rights to SAM only and viewing rights for the rest of our Solarwinds products. These groups will be the only groups in the company to "manage" SAM.
- We would like our networking team to have admin rights to NPM and NTA only and viewing rights to all other Solarwinds products. This group will be the only group to manage NPM and NTA.
Etc.
Right now, we find that there are "too many hands in the pot" giving administrative rights to too many employees. If one admin makes a mistake and does not let anyone know about it, it becomes an investigation with Solarwinds support and our company's staff. This is unecessary troubleshooting for various admins within our company.
If there was a way to seperate the products and admin/view rights per product, it would fix the underlying issue.
