EOC Question

Hi,

Can I use EOC to combined two different platform or Orion Server in different domain?

Server 1:

Orion NPM 9.0 SP2

SQL 2000

5k elements

Server 2:

Orion NPM 9.5 SP3

SQL 2005 Enterprise

10K Elements

What I'm trying to accomplished here is to merge this two different system without losing any data on each Orion server.

Does EOC needs different SQL?

You are correct. It does not matter if the NPM servers are different versions nor if the SQL Servers that they use are different version.

EOC doesn't merge them into one system, but rather imports information from both to give you a unified view of the information. Yes, EOC needs its own database separate from the two you're using in your individual NPM installs.

So regardless of whether NPM servers are in different version and SQL?
