Please add CPU, Memory, and OS Version for Nokia TIMOS devices

Currently we are not able to get CPU, Memory, and OS version data out of our Nokia (formerly Alcatel) gear. It would be really nice to have these things show up.

The firmware release currently shows up as unknown, and it shows zero CPUs. CPU and memory are not graphed.

Can you snmpwalk the devices?

If you can, then it should just be a case of finding the correct OIDs for your device a creating a poller for it.

It is always best to start with resolving the devices sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2), as this usually allows us to research the correct OIDs that you seek.

With the sysObjectID in hand, have a good web search, see if anyone else has already been through the process, or failing that head on over to www.mibdepot.com and start searching.

To build a poller, have a look at Troubleshoot Unknown nodes - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support - especially the "Verify that the status poller is enabled" section, as this is probably what you are missing.

Also worth checking Network Performance Monitor for the Device Pollers in the content exchange, on Thwack, as it is likely someone has already created one.

just like yaquaholic mentioned, when you have the OIDs you can easily create a new CPU/Memory Poller on your own.

Go to Settings -> all settings -> manage Pollers -> Create new Poller

let the wizard guide you through the process

In the latest versions of NPM CPU and Memory seem to show up, but I've posted a Nokia (Alcatel) node details poller in the Content Exchange that may help get you some additional info for select Nokia gear - 7705 SAR, 7210 SASx, 7750 SR.

Hope it helps someone else out as well.
