Custom Properties Formatting

I would really like to have the text fields such as "Comments" in the custom properties to be able to handle formatting. If we are pulling this information in as Custom Asset Data it would nice have formatted notes versus just a single run-on line as is possible now.

P.S. I am sure this feature requests may already exist; however, I was unable to find it.

It sounds like at a minimum, you'd like Custom Properties to support carriage returns?

This is an interesting idea. I really like it for things like comments, but would want to make sure that when retreived as a variable, issues were not introduced for existing usages. e.g. we have a ContactEmail field, these contain strings like "name1@domain.com; name2@domain.com" and we use the variable to place those into the "To:" field for email alerts.

Yes, that would be a great start. To take it a bit further allowing a bit of text formatting (bold, underline, indent, bullets, etc) would be nice.

report writer has to recognize/allow formatting too...

...I have a FR here requesting ability to recognize CR/LF (or HTML formatting) of SQL column - in reports
