Two requests that I keep getting from application users as they interact with the perfstacks that I setup is:
1) Can I add annotations, for example to add comments to a point in time, for a range of time
2) Can we have server events from <insert application here> show up automatically in the perfstack?
They are referring to something like what DPA has for the virtualization tab:
Examples of types of events: GIS Server utilization events, server outage events, heavy hitting reports being kicked off, application specific critical log entries, etc.
It would be REALLY helpful if we had the ability to define an event class or event stack and then add internal or external alert events to it.
And then selectively pick which of those event stacks to include in a particular perfstack. So Application A Event Stack, Application B Event Stack, Network Event Stack, etc.
If we had something like this it would invalidate my other request for ability to add boolean metrics to perfstacks.
