Currently reboot alerts are for nodes only. I currently have MDF, IDF, and room switch groups. Some more severe than others when rebooted.
The only way I found to do this is to have a custom attribute applied to the nodes, let's say MDF. Then from my alerts I can put in "If custom attribute is MDF and this alert happens>Email". This is fine and dandy but if I can apply it to a group, I don't have to worry about somebody forgetting to apply that attribute to the node if it was put into the correct group to start with. (Trust me it will be forgotten).
