We are using SolarWinds Log Forwarder for Windows for event redirection to Orion Syslog for multiple Roles, Applications and Services on our windows OSes.
But i am noticing for each event log sent to syslog i need to manual create a syslog rule to alter the message and define a type.
Is there a way or is it worth while for SolarWinds Log Forwarder for Windows to parse the XML event logs from windows and define the message type prior to sending to syslog?
If this is an available feature/option, where do i enable it.
Main reason is we want to have Orion syslog alert us when there is issues or general maintenance
