My team occasionally adds or removes nodes from NCM. There are nine scheduled jobs, some of which apply to all nodes, others to which certain nodes must not be added. Where "all nodes" are not selected, we must manually add new nodes. It's inconvenient to have to open multiple jobs to add or remove nodes, and nodes frequently slip between the jobs' cracks, and are missed.
I can select all NCM jobs by clicking the check box at the top of the column, but although they are all selected I cannnot edit them all simultaneously to add nodes. This is a problem of inconvenience at best, and one of missed NCM jobs at worst--and that can mean devices not being backed up, inventoried, etc.
Please create a way to edit the nodes for all NCM jobs. It could be as simple as selecting all (or multiple) jobs and then allowing nodes to be added or removed from the selected jobs
It could also be done when adding nodes to NCM. Imagine in the Add Node dialog there were a place where all of the scheduled jobs showed up with radio boxes. Before a node-adding-job is complete, one could simply check the boxes for the scheduled jobs to which the node should be added.
As it is today, adding a node means manually opening every scheduled job, going through the various screen dialogs and options, getting to the Nodes window, opening up the device types and adding the new node, then proceeding all the way through to the end of the job's dialog and completing it.
Since I have multiple jobs, I have to do this multiple times for each node, or batch node adding job assigning and try to have several to add into each job. That doesn't work out well--my team often misses one or more (or all) jobs to which the node should be added.
Providing this additional functionality would made NCM more user-friendly and complete. Please make it so.
