Interface "Statistics Collection" Condition

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the values are, and what those values represent, for the "Statistics Collection" condition on an Interface?

Property Type: Interface
Condition Name: Interfaces > Polling Details > Statistics Collection
Default Value: 0
Available Value in Drop-Down Menu: 9

Any numeric value can be inserted for this condition, which makes me wonder if there are other available values. If there are, what are they, and what do they represent.

The values are whatever you make them. The 9 in your drop-down list is there because the stats for all of your interfaces in Orion are collected every 9 minutes. You can change this number for each node individually by going to the interface details of the node and making the change or you can do it globally by editing the Default Interface Statistics Poll Interval in Orion Polling Settings. Your default setting is apparently set to 9 minutes...

We use the global setting for most interfaces. There are a few that we have changed to non-global values.

Thanks for the explaination. I was hoping the values of the Statistics Collection condition were for the status of the collection (up, down, warning, critical, etc.) rather than the interval.
