Solarwinds MIB Database update notification

It would be really helpful if there was a timestamp, version number and/or a small update notification when the MIB Database on https://customerportal.solarwinds.com/info/MIB-Database get's updated. It's my understanding that this gets updated from time to time, but there's little to no notification of when it does, what's been added and why. In the past I've been told by support to update my MIB DB to make sure the MIB DB in NPM is up to date, however what's being updated. Is my MIB DB already updated and I'm wasting time, I'm I installing an update for no other reason to have the latest-greatest or is there something newly added that will resolve an issue that I might be experiencing. I'm proposing a simple request to structure the MIB DB updates similar to Hox Fixes or Product Downloads, with release date information and version numbering at the very least and a What's New description at the most.

I have a scheduled task that runs once a week, it downloads the latest file, unzips it and then compares the last modified date. If newer it copies it to the main polled and HA node.

(I was comparing file hash's but it took too long and sucked bandwidth as the HA node is in a different DC.)

This runs in parallel with an app template from KMSigma for checking the MIB age of the file to give something to alert on.

Having a notification would be much simpler to check on.
