I recently added some new APE's and reassigned nodes across all APE's to even out loads.
I'd love to be able to group nodes in NCM Config Management by their polling engines and issue a command to all of them to update their syslogging configurations. The goal is to eliminate logging to their previous destinations and update it to the new polling engine to which each node as been moved.
But there is no way to group nodes by their polling engines.
This would be an intuitive way to group nodes, since they can be grouped this way in NPM's Settings > Manage Nodes view.
Alternately, the same functionality could be accomplished by adding the ability to execute scripts from NPM's Admin > Node Management > Manage Nodes and use a drop down option from More Actions called "Execute Script on Selected Nodes"
