Currently SAM's SNMP Monitor utilizes the same SNMP version and community string that is used to manage the node in Orion, with no ability specify a different SNMP community string or version. While you can specify a different SNMP port in SAM's SNMP Component Monitor if you're running multiple SNMP Daemons on the same host, it requires that SNMP Daemon to be configured to use the exact same SNMP settings as the primary SNMP daemon that Orion is using to manage the node.
In addition, since there is no ability to specify an SNMP community string or version in the SAM's SNMP Component Monitor, and no ability to inherit these settings from WMI managed nodes, there is no way to utilize SAM's SNMP Monitor with nodes that are managed via WMI.
