I want to put the "Active Alerts" view on my homepage, but I want to customize it to only show alerts on my Cisco gear. Is that possible?
You could create an alert report in report writer and filter on vendor cisco then add the report to your homepage.
how often would it update though????
copy the alerts view, rename new accordingly.edit the filters to include only cisco gear.
this would allow the page to automatically be refreshed and you could replace existing alert page in menu bar or create new entry on bar.
nice one larry... it escaped me that you could make the filters on alerts view stick...
What is the best way to go about filtering the alerts page? My first thought would be a simple view limitation for the page but it doesn't look like this option is available for the page. Would the alternative be to filter the page by changing some variables in the URL? Has anyone else been able to do this successfully?
