The addition of the status "Warning" to be added to Application Monitors

We are currently creating a few SAM Templates to accommodate some log monitoring for one of our infrastructure teams.

The particular logs we are monitoring do not require immediate attention so we wish to set the status of the check to go into a "Warning" state. The trouble is that the only options available within a template when a condition is met is either "Up" or Down" so the check is either "Green/Up" or "Down/Red".

Is it possible that this additional status can be added to the section:

"If a match is found in a polling period, component is: Down/Up" (Add in Warning?)

Any feedback would be appreciated.

With the update within v5.2 to include the ability to collect the event message back into SAM, this now makes sense as a feature. Being able to log this as an internal Orion event message will expand the forensic and trending background for information from the Windows Event logs.

this is already possible today using the Advanced Alert Manager. You can have these Windows Event Log messages included in Orion Events using the ${WindowsEventMessages} macro.
