Mass registration for oracle only allows Direct Connect.
I would suggest mass registration to allow all the other features available on the manual registration like "TNS Connect Descriptor" and "LDAP or TNS Name", this would allow to specify connection details that are sometimes required like SOURCE_ROUTE and others.
