I know there are several search options, but each time I search it goes to a plain page. I would prefer a readout, maybe including IP, some possible details or custom property options to select and display
- but that aside it would all be better if this displayed in a Seperate Resource on the same page - doesnt even matter if the entire page refreshes to display the results.. so long as the page is the same and I have the results showing.
* I have a few search tabs built into displays and often we want results without leaving the page we are on, so I want the same page, plus the ability to right click and open in a new tab - to have my cake and eat it too! *
I also know some folks have customized their search results page, I did this on my test box also - so it is not hard to display name, ip, dns, machine type and vendor on a results page. Custom props a little more programming , but check box options for details to display would be nice.
If you make the Resource - it will contain an 'edit' button
