By default, the Remote Connect window does not show the host alias in the host list pane on the right. Since all of our computers are named via their asset number (agx-003221), just seeing the host name in the host list is useless. We need to be able to see the alias as well (maybe in parenthesis).
To make the host list pane even easier to use, a "filter-as-you-type" search box which searches both the host name and alias would be incredibly beneficial, especially for organizations that have a large number of hosts to manage. Even though we only have 200 hosts, the list is almost unmanageable because the list is so long.
Side note: These features should work whether you're using the standalone version of the MRC client or with the Central Server product. If we enter aliases in the global hosts list, those aliases should appear under the Global Host List folder automatically (and be searchable).
