Disk performance statistics are not functional for VMs when they are hosted on Microsoft Scale-Out File Server.  Specifically important is disk latency read and write, disk IOPs, bytes per read and bytes per write.

Not only does it not work, but VMan actually provides bad data. Showing unrelated data stores for example.

For those who use SOFS/SMB3 in their Hyper-V environment, Virtualization Manager has nothing to offer in terms of storage monitoring as long as this isn't supported.
