Undelete option in IPAM

I've noticed in IPAM when deleting a range or folder, sometimes it has more than 1 item selected. So when you press delete, both of them disappear if you don't read the delete dialog box properly. I'm now more careful but it's still way to easy to accidentally delete something you didn't want deleted in IPAM. An undelete function would be very beneficial.

smttysmth02gt why did you vote this down? Do you think having an undelete function is a bad idea? It's so easy to delete the wrong thing as I unfortunately found out the hard way.

I actually misread the suggestion! I changed my vote to up. I thought you were talking about nodes for devices themselves.

This is a good idea to have like an undo option. Recently, one of the engineer in my team accidentally deleted a folder in Solarwinds IPAM. I did a restoration to a test database (without touching the productive database) and get the deleted data from there. Seems like the export of data is not using the same template for the import. In the end, i need to manually create new folders, supernet and subnets accordingly.

Thanks! I too accidently deleted a whole folder. I thought I was just deleting a subnet but it had selected the parent folder. And I too went through the pain of having to recreate everything.

I don't know why this feature hasn't been voted on more. There's got to be a better way of restoring a deleted folder in IPAM.
