Using a token to log into a remote workstation via dameware

Good afternoon,

I have an administrative token/ smart card that is required to be used when logging into workstations. I am able to use this to log on remotely to workstations with DameWare. I am able to open DameWare with the credentials, but when I remote to a machine, it does not see the token credentials. I have been unable to find any documentation to assist with this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

At the top select Send> Send Smart Card Logon (Ctrl+Alt+Home). Dameware will then send the certificates to the remote system.

Interesting, that looks simple enough, but my "Send smart card logon" was greyed out. I did however find another option/step: After connecting to a workstation, In the Mini remote control window, I selected "view > default host properties > RDP tab > settings > and selected "smart cards" check box.

Send to Smart Card will only be available if you connect to the remote system with smart card authentication.

When connecting if you leave the UserID blank, it will use the default certificate. If you have multiple certificates you can enter the username for the other certificates.
