As our one and only network guy – I keep an Orion NTA tab open all day and go back and hit refresh quite often. I like being able to see which links are working hard. What if I could throw an extra monitor or a TV on the wall and have a dedicated view into the network throughout my day? This would make me more efficient and proactive.
I have tried doing Chrome in full screen mode with the ‘Auto Refresh Plus’ add-in… but it’s just okay. It could be better. The page annoyingly defaults to the top every time, so the Solarwinds nav-bar is eating up too much of the view.
What if there was a link within the NetFlow Settings for what I’m calling a “heads-up flow display page”? It could simply bring you to a web page that has no bar on top, auto refreshes at customizable intervals, and does not reset scroll. If I could then custom build the page resources as I already do – I would be a happy man. Drag and drop resources would be a bonus.
