I think it would be helpful if there was a repository for how people have implemented their patches for custom third party packages. For example, if I am looking to implement a new package for a third party software that is not officially supported, I would be able to check the repository to see if someone has already done this to help save some work. It would also allow other users to provide feedback and improve the packages.
