Permit apostrophes in individual accounts

I am trying to allow certain users read-only access to SolarWinds Orion using their existing Active Directory accounts. This is not possible for some users because their names contain apostrophes. I think it's good that Active Directory supports this, and I would like SolarWinds to support it too: people's names are important and they shouldn't be forced to compromise them due to system limitations.
