Ability to keep historical data for deleted nodes

Dear SolarWinds,

It would be great to have the option to keep historical data (SNMP, ICMP) for deleted nodes and interfaces.

I have seen such use case when customer was adding specific nodes from only one location, for which he wanted to perform some ad-hoc troubleshooting.

The workaround is to create reports before deleting those nodes, however it would be a more smooth experience for history to remain and be a part of regular data retention.

I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you.

Ideally updated within the SQL Database as being deleted by which user account on a specific date and time ideally with a resource / widget that can be added to a dashboard view.
