Recently I've noticed that within my instance of NPM v12, when attempting to create an Advanced Alert with a trigger action to Send an SNMP Trap, there seems to be a limitation whereby only one text box is available to include SNMP community strings.
The problem with this is we have multiple nodes (and some of these are grouped & configured with differing SNMP community strings)
I raised my inquiry with Solarwinds Support (by opening a case) where they have gotten back to me by stating the following:
I have submitted this feature request to our development team internally.
They will consider the request, and decide whether it will be implemented.
Further to this they informed that I should:
Create a post titled “FEATURE REQUEST - Name of the Feature Request” and detail your request including case number.
These forums are monitored by our Product Managers. This will allow other customers to voice their opinions as to whether they would find the feature useful.
