FEATURE REQUEST (Case #637611 )
What I am asking I am sure that it can be done/implemented (but not right now as per version 4.1), and I am pretty sure a lot of you IPAM users have encounter this situation sometime in the past...This is what I wrote to tech.support. and their answer...
Subject: Custom IPAM fields
Custom fields are moved between subnets and this is not what i need. Example...
Lets say I have 2 subnets SUB1 and SUB2 both under the same group name, and lets say that the defaults IPAM fileds are A,B,C,D. these fields will be on both subnets, then I created custom fields 1,2,3,4.
I want SUB1 to only show A,B,C,4 and SUB2 to show 1,2,3,D. If a remove field "D" it is removed on both SUB1&2 and he same thing happen if a remove "4" and I just want that field removed per subnet NOT ALL SUBNETS.
I even created different group names and move each SUB to a different group, thinking that this will resolved the issue but no.... Help please, IPAM suppose to be easy but these little "simple" things are getting very annoying lately.

I understand that you would like to add/remove columns per subnet basis.
I reproduce the issue on my and it appears that adding/removing of columns applies to all subnet/IPs.
I have submitted this feature request to our development team. They will consider the request, and decide whether it will be implemented.
Please, some VP at Solarwind heard my word!!!!
