When assigning an application monitor template which uses linux scripts as components, to a node or multiple nodes, the options available for credentials are:
- Inherit credentials from template
- Assign custom credential
When selecting option 2, the dropdown list only shows the credentials for username and password. The certificate credentials (username and privateKey) are not provided as an option.

The link above mentions to use option 1 and then select multiedit for each node which is a workaround but it becomes tedious to set that individually on each node.
