I would like to have a command line option to start an internet session on the client side when the supporter is waiting.
The problem is that the automatism doesn’t work on many computers from my customers.The JoinSessionGuide is a nice idea but the handling is unncecessary complex.If you take a look an other remote apps the customer or the technican just has to start the application an enter an ID.
The easiest way I can imagine is a inputfield on my homepage where my customer enters the session-ID-number and clicks connect.The second best way would be after downloading and clicking damewareInternetSession.exe that a dialogbox comes up where the customer enters the session-ID-number only (the download should be configured/branded with my internet-url so only numbers have to be entered).The easiest way for you is to enable command line options for the internet session link or two options one for the url and one for the ID part. With that I could implement it via a batch-file or something.
