The customer wants to receive an IP conflict alert in IPAM in cases where an IP address is in the "In Use" state but there is no DHCP server involved.
When two devices with the same IP address but different MAC addresses are connected to the same network, the conflict alert should be triggered after a subnet scan.
Due to the network architecture, this functionality may work intermittently, and only if IPAM receives a response from the second device (with a different MAC address) during the scan.
This can be achieved by introducing a configuration parameter in IPAM settings, which changes the current "MAC address changed" alert into a "conflict event."
