This is something I've come up against time and time again and it doesnt seem to be consistent.
I appreciate that a global proxy setting (with exclusions) may not be for everyone, but having a global one that can be specified available, but then being able to uncheck a global level and being able to set it manually for each of the following -
NPM - Global
NPM - Hardware Support Status (HP etc)
NPM - Netpath
SAM - Global
SAM - Templates Download
NCM - Global
NCM - Vulnerability Download
etc
Currently this is a mix of -
Admin Section
Advanced Settings
web.config files
Other .config files
Just something I've been fighting with recently and thought it would be a worthy FR!
