Container monitoring is one of the good features of SAM. Currently, SAM supports Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm , and Apache Mesos .
As of now, Container monitoring is limited to specific versions of Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Mesos. Most of the customers have upgraded versions of the containers, which are not supported by SolarWinds.
For reference one of our customers has updated the Kubernetes to v1.25 instances running on containerd which is now not getting monitored.
Also, customers are using Kubernetes OpenShift which is again not supported by SAM.
SolarWinds should keep adding more support for newer technologies, so customers can keep leveraging all the features of the platform.
