Error on EOC after page refresh/menu bar selection

Since updating our EOC from 1.1 to 1.1 SP1 we have been seeing errors when the page refreshes or you select a menu bar item.

Its the typical "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://<blah blah> Operation aborted"

It seems to happen just before the maps load, all the other resources have populated the screen. We have to close the IE session and open a new to get back into EOC.

Any suggestions ?

Found something interesting, works great in Mozilla Firefox. Login is even faster in Mozilla then is it in IE.

As soon as I flipped the Mozilla tab with EOC to an IE Tab.. it crashed.

Let me talk with the Network Atlas team and see if they have seen this particular issue. Microsoft indicates that issues encountering this error are fixed in IE 8, so you might want to try on a box with IE 8, just to help us verify that it is the same issue that Microsoft is describing.

I talked with them. They don't believe that your issue is related to the microsoft support case shown above, but it stil would be helpful if you get a chance to try IE8. Further, is your EOC website listed in your browser as a trusted site? Maybe that has something to do with your problem.

Thanks for the reply. IE8 has not been approved for use at our company ( yet ) so I am not going to be able to test that. We are still running IE6.

I tried adding our EOC to the trusted sites, no go.

I'm still having this issue, and we are getting close to deploying EOC. Upgrading to IE 7+ is not an option.
