Active Alarm Monitoring through SNMP

I monitor several UPS units from various vendors. Each has an 'active alarms' OID with variables that reference other OIDs to list the active alarms. The table that is returned is will only list the raw value which in this case is an OID and not human-friendly.

I'd like to be able to have a table that would show the active alarms' descriptions rather than just the OID so techs can pull up the page for the unit and see active alarms on the UPS.

I would also like an alarm description and set the device icon red or yellow depending on the alarm with the ups.

It looks like the MIB for your UPS is not present in the MIB database. If it is, the OIDs get translated to the 'human-friendly' text. You can submit a support ticket to get the MIB added to the database.
