Support for MySQL (and variants)

It would be great if DPA supported MySQL (and variants) like it did other databases.

Update: For customers under maintenance, DPA 10.0 with MySQL support is now in your customer portal.

Given how much we love DPA/Ignite, we would buy some licenses to MySQL in a heartbeat.

We have tried this on MSSQL database to see first hand all the data available, and can see this being hugely useful.

However a large amount of our estate is MySQL.

Postgres support. There is a free static HTML analysis tool called PGBadger, but the data warehouse approach is better.

Having both a SQL and MySQL databases, it would be great to have one program to monitor all of the instances in once location.

Yes to MYSQL and her variants (even Drizzle). Have the repository support expanded to these as well.

I agree, Currently I use DPA to Monitor SQL and Oracle Databases, We have a few MySQL Database but no tools to monitor them.

MySQL variants means other variants of MySQL like MariaDB. So vote for PostgreSQL in another thread and not here if that is what you desire.

We currently use the SAM MySQL monitoring and it is good.

But since upgrading MySQL from version 5.6 it contains the performance_schema which contains a wealth of potentially useful information.

MySQL has a few of it's own unique issues to address when optimizing performance in comparison to MS SQL Server. Considering how so many companies are using a LAMP stack, I think it would be a beneficial direction to pursue.
