The overall status of the secondary AppInsight for SQL is always showing an Unknown Status.
Update the AppInsight SQL template to support Always-On to identifying databases that are in a secondary condition as a valid status.
Bump. The low number of votes on this may indicate a relatively low usage of AOAGs, but does not indicate their level of criticality.
I was also looking for a component monitor in "Appinsight for SQL" template specifically for AlwaysOn. Our DBA team is looking for that feature.
We have hundreds of AlwaysOn. The lack of this feature will puts the entire AppInsight Monitor in an unknown state for any node that is not running the database.

I was recently told that having components in a down or unknown state adds extra load on the polling engines? Is that true, and if so, can we get this updated please?
