Whenever we have to perform OS patching on our polling server or DB and rebooting I need to perform the recommended steps to mute all the nodes and then unmute when the maintenance is complete. If this isn't done a whole bunch of false positive messages will get sent out. This is cumbersome since a subset of the nodes are already muted for other reasons so I would need to document those nodes and not unmute them after maintenance. Instead I think a single toggle switch within the Settings section would be far more efficient. Toggle it when performing maintenance and it will mute all alerts automatically while remembering the ones that were already muted. Then when the admin is ready, they can toggle back to "live" mode and alerts for the nodes that were not muted will resume. I believe this could be utilized during Orion upgrades as well.
