I would appreciate your vote regarding my suggestion for Orion NPM about linking the unmanage/remanage tasks to both polling and syslog alerts. As you all know, the only way to stop syslog alerts is to create a rule or enable one already in the database. This is quite cumbersome and time-consuming, especially if we need to deal with offices from several locations, etc. And, as if that was not bad enough, we cannot schedule for syslog rules to be enabled or disabled. This means that the Orion admin needs to be present whenever the syslog alerts need to be enabled or disabled. Again, this is quite time consuming which is why I would very much like for the developers to find a way to include syslog alerts when a device is managed or unmanaged. What do you all think????
